Tactical Uniform Style HG2 Multi-Threat Vest Level IIIA/HG2

Dress appearance, tactical load-out

The tactical uniform shirt carrier keeps Class A styling but adds MOLLE webbing, so radio, light, cuffs and a spare magazine ride on the torso instead of the duty belt. Paired here with HG2 Level IIIA panels, it is the standard configuration for most uniformed security work: handgun-rated protection, professional appearance, and weight carried where it does not wreck an officer’s back.

Why officers notice the load change

A loaded duty belt puts everything on the hips and lower back over a twelve-hour shift. Moving four or five items onto the carrier distributes that across the shoulders and torso. It is one of the few kit changes an officer feels within a single shift, and it shows up later in fewer back complaints.

Setting it up

Mount the radio on the support side at chest height with the mic loop routed to the shoulder, and keep the strong-side front clear so drawing is unobstructed. Decide body camera placement once, as a written standard, so footage angles are consistent across the team.

Fit and care

Order by measured chest and waist. Remove the panels before washing; carrier alone, air dry. Panels get a damp cloth and flat storage, and are covered by Safe Life Defense’s five-year warranty on ballistic panels.
