How we work

Physical security, investigations and cyber under one command

Most problems do not stay in one lane. A break-in turns into an insider question, a harassment complaint turns into a digital evidence problem, and a data leak turns out to have started with a stolen laptop. Honeybadger Solutions is built so those threads can be followed by one team instead of three vendors who never talk to each other.

In practice, that means the people who staff a guard post, the investigators who work a case and the analysts who examine a device or a network share one intake, one case record and one point of accountability. Information that matters to one discipline reaches the others quickly, with the client deciding what is shared and with whom.

Physical security

Licensed officers, patrols and protective details that deter, observe and report. Their incident reports and site observations often become the first facts an investigation relies on.

Investigations

Background research, surveillance, interviews and OSINT that establish what happened and who was involved, documented in a form counsel and decision-makers can use.

Cyber and forensics

Device and account examinations, incident response and managed security that preserve electronic evidence and close the technical gaps a physical problem can expose.

Protective intelligence

Monitoring of open-source information, threats and travel risk that informs how officers are posted and how protective details are planned.

Service lines

Where to start, by the problem you are facing

Each service line has its own hub with detail on scope, process and what to expect. If you are not sure which one fits, start with a conversation and we will point you to the right team.

Security officers and patrol

Armed and unarmed officers, standing posts, mobile patrol, fire watch and event coverage. Our security services hub explains how posts are scoped, staffed and supervised.

Executive and personal protection

Close protection, residential security, secure travel and event details for executives, families and public figures, outlined on our protection services page.

Private investigations

Surveillance, background and due-diligence investigations, locates, fraud and litigation support. See the private investigations hub for case types and methods.

Cyber services

Incident response, penetration testing, dark web monitoring and managed security for organizations that need a defender without building a full internal team. Start at cyber services.

Digital forensics

Phones, computers, cloud accounts, video and audio examined with documented chain of custody. Our digital forensics services cover collection through reporting.

Consulting and training

Security assessments, policy and program design, workplace-violence planning and staff training, described on our consulting services page.

Transportation security

Secure drivers, cargo and logistics security, and route risk planning. Details are on the transportation security hub.

Managed IT

Endpoint management, backup and recovery, network infrastructure and governance support for small and mid-sized organizations through our IT services.

Security gear

Counter-surveillance tools, cameras, Faraday bags, soft armor and accessories are available in the Honeybadger shop for clients who want equipment alongside services.

Who we serve

Built for four kinds of clients, each with different needs

The same capabilities are delivered differently depending on who is asking. What a private family needs from a surveillance case is not what a government contracting officer needs from a guard contract, and we scope accordingly.

Individuals and families

People dealing with stalking, harassment, a suspected hidden tracker, a custody concern, a missing relative or a personal safety risk. Discretion and plain-language reporting matter most here.

Businesses

Property managers, retailers, contractors, healthcare and industrial operators who need officers on site, internal investigations, background screening or help after a cyber incident.

Attorneys and insurers

Firms that need evidence gathered and documented for litigation: surveillance, witness location, process service, OSINT and forensic examinations with a defensible chain of custody.

Government agencies

Public-sector buyers who value a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that can deliver guard services, assessments and investigative or forensic support under a single contract.

Why a single accountable provider matters

When security, investigations and cyber work are split among separate vendors, the client becomes the coordinator. Reports arrive in different formats, evidence handling standards differ, and nobody owns the gaps between them. A guard company may document an incident poorly for later investigation; an IT vendor may reimage a device before anyone thinks to preserve it.

  • One intake. You explain the situation once, and the right specialists are brought in behind it.
  • Consistent documentation. Incident reports, investigative findings and forensic results are prepared with later use in mind, including review by counsel.
  • Fewer handoffs. Evidence and context move inside one organization instead of across contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Clear responsibility. If something is missed, there is one provider answerable for it, not a chain of subcontractors pointing at each other.

Getting started

How an engagement starts and where we operate

Most engagements begin with a confidential conversation, not a contract. The goal of the first contact is to understand the problem well enough to recommend a proportionate response, which is sometimes smaller than the client expected.

  1. Initial contact. Call 602-725-2818 or request a confidential consultation. Share only what you are comfortable sharing at first; we will ask for more as needed.
  2. Scoping. We clarify the objective, the timeline, any legal or court deadlines, the locations involved and what a useful result looks like for you.
  3. Written proposal. You receive a plan that describes the work, the deliverables and the factors that drive cost, such as hours, locations, staffing level and travel.
  4. Authorization and mobilization. Once approved, the assigned team is briefed and the work begins, with a named point of contact on our side for updates.
  5. Reporting and follow-through. Findings, logs or forensic reports are delivered in the agreed format, and we discuss next steps if the situation continues.

Coverage: Arizona staff, nationwide reach

Guard posts in Arizona are staffed by Honeybadger’s own licensed employees. Outside Arizona, physical security coverage is delivered through a vetted managed network that operates under Honeybadger’s command, so clients keep one point of accountability even when the officers on site are in another state.

Investigative, forensic and cyber work is nationwide. Many forensic collections and cyber engagements can be performed remotely, and investigators travel when a case requires field work. Former military and law-enforcement professionals lead the work, and requirements for licensing and legal process vary by state, so each engagement is scoped with those rules in mind.

If you are dealing with an immediate threat to someone’s safety, contact 911 first. We can support planning and protection once emergency services are involved.

Frequently asked

Common questions from new clients

Is my first conversation confidential?

Yes. We treat inquiries as confidential and discuss sensitive details only with the people you authorize. If your matter involves litigation, many clients have their attorney engage us so the work is directed through counsel; ask your lawyer whether that approach fits your situation.

Can you handle a case that involves both physical and digital evidence?

That is one of the main reasons clients choose us. For example, a business might need officers on site after a theft, an investigator to interview staff and a forensic examiner to review a former employee’s laptop. One team can coordinate all three so nothing is lost between them.

How is pricing determined?

Cost depends on the type of work, the hours or duration, the number of officers or investigators, locations and travel, equipment, and reporting requirements. We explain those drivers in the proposal so you can adjust scope before approving anything.

Do you work outside Arizona?

Yes. Investigations, forensic examinations and cyber services are delivered nationwide. Physical security outside Arizona is provided through our vetted managed network under Honeybadger’s command.

What should I have ready before I call?

A short summary of what happened or what worries you, key dates, locations, any documents or messages involved, and your deadline if there is one. Do not alter devices or delete messages that may be evidence; leave them as they are until we discuss preservation.

Can you promise a specific outcome?

No responsible provider can. We commit to a clear plan, lawful methods, honest reporting and timely communication, and we will tell you early if the evidence or the situation points somewhere other than where you expected.
