Will my partner find out?
Discretion is the core of our work. Surveillance is conducted at a distance by trained investigators who are practiced at going unnoticed, and case details are never shared outside our team. The goal is always for the subject to have no idea an inquiry is taking place.
Is what you gather legal, and usable in court?
Yes. Our licensed investigators use lawful methods only, and evidence is documented with dates, photo and video, and clear notes so it can be understood on its own. When a matter goes to family court, that documentation is prepared to be presented and to withstand scrutiny.
How long does it take?
It depends on the situation — some questions are answered in a few days of well-timed observation, while establishing a clear pattern can take longer. We’ll give you an honest sense of scope at the consultation and keep you informed, rather than running up time without results.
How do you protect my privacy?
Your case is handled by a small, dedicated team under strict confidentiality. We limit who knows about the matter, keep communications discreet, and release information only to you. Nothing about your case is disclosed to anyone else without your explicit direction.
Where the law draws the line
What is off-limits, and why it protects you
Suspicion can push people toward shortcuts that feel reasonable in the moment and cause serious trouble later. Knowing the general boundaries in Arizona helps you avoid damaging your own position. This is general information, not legal advice; your family-law attorney can apply it to your facts.
Recording conversations
Arizona is generally a one-party consent state for recording conversations, under A.R.S. 13-3005 and 13-3012. You may usually record a conversation you are part of. Secretly recording conversations between other people that you are not part of is a different matter and can be a crime.
GPS trackers
We do not place a GPS tracker on any vehicle the client does not own or lawfully control. Vehicles titled to a spouse, a jointly owned car, or a car the partner uses exclusively can raise difficult questions, so we review ownership first and recommend you confirm with counsel. Phones, email and accounts
Logging into a partner’s email, social media or cloud account without permission, or installing monitoring apps on their phone, can violate state and federal law even inside a marriage. We do not do it, and we advise clients not to.
Where observation stops
Investigators document what can be seen from places they are lawfully allowed to be. They do not enter homes, hotel rooms or other private spaces, and they do not film into places where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
These limits are not a weakness. Evidence gathered unlawfully can be excluded, can undermine your credibility, and can expose you to civil or criminal liability.
Getting ready
What to bring to the first conversation
A focused investigation is usually a shorter and less costly one. The more accurately you can describe routines and timing, the better surveillance hours can be placed on the days that matter.
- Recent, clear photos of your partner, and descriptions of the vehicles they drive, including plates if you know them.
- Work schedule, gym or hobby routines, and the days or times when their account of events does not add up.
- Any names, places or phone numbers that keep coming up, and how you learned about them.
- Upcoming events such as business trips, late meetings or weekends away that may be worth covering.
- What you intend to do with the results: personal clarity, a conversation, or a family-court matter with an attorney involved.
- Your safety concerns, if any. If you fear for your safety, tell us at the outset so the plan reflects it.

Mistakes to avoid
Things that can quietly derail a case
Most compromised investigations are not caused by the investigator being seen. They are caused by small signals that tell the subject something has changed.
- Confronting too early. A confrontation before the facts are in usually changes behavior, and the pattern you wanted to understand disappears.
- Following them yourself. Personal pursuit is risky, often noticed, and can lead to arguments or accusations of harassment.
- Telling friends or family. Even trusted people can let something slip. Keep the circle as small as possible.
- Changing your routine. Unusual questions about plans, sudden interest in their phone, or asking for detailed schedules can raise their guard.
- Collecting evidence the wrong way. Screenshots from accounts you accessed without permission or recordings you were not part of can hurt you more than help.
Setting expectations
How results can look, and how they may be used
An investigation is designed to document facts, whatever they turn out to be. We cannot promise a particular outcome, and an honest investigator will not.
Results often fall into one of three groups: activity that confirms a concern, activity that answers the question the other way, or observations that are inconclusive because nothing notable happened during the periods covered. Each is useful. An inconclusive result may point to different days to cover, or it may give you reason to step back.
Arizona is a no-fault divorce state, so infidelity by itself generally does not decide whether a divorce is granted. Findings can still matter in other ways, for example where marital money is being spent on an affair, or where a partner’s conduct affects children. Your attorney can advise on relevance. Should I speak with a family-law attorney first?
If divorce or custody is on the table, it often helps. An attorney can tell you what evidence is relevant, and we can coordinate with them so the report fits how it may be used.

What if my partner travels out of state?
Our own investigators work across Arizona. If your partner travels out of state, a vetted, locally licensed partner can cover the destination under our coordination. That takes planning, so let us know about trips as early as you can.
Can I stop the investigation partway through?
Yes. You stay in control of scope and can pause or end the work at any point. You will receive the documentation gathered up to that point.
