Where a surveillance investigation earns its keep

When surveillance helps

Surveillance answers the question that documents and interviews can’t — what a person actually does, where, and with whom. Statements can be shaded and paperwork can be incomplete, but a documented pattern of activity speaks for itself. Most of our assignments fall into one of these categories, and many overlap as an investigation develops.

💔

Infidelity & domestic

Discreet observation for suspected infidelity or domestic concerns — establishing patterns and gathering the documentation that gives you clarity and, where needed, evidence for counsel.

🏥

Workers’ comp & insurance fraud

Activity documentation for claims that don’t add up — capturing what a claimant is physically able to do, timestamped for adjusters, defense counsel and SIU teams.

👨‍👩‍👧

Child custody & welfare

Observation focused on a child’s safety and welfare during custody or visitation disputes — documented objectively for family-court matters.

🏢

Corporate misconduct

Discreet coverage of employees and contractors in matters of moonlighting, theft, misuse of leave, or breach of non-compete — evidence prepared for HR and legal.

🔍

Due diligence & activity checks

Independent verification of a subject’s day-to-day activity before a deal, partnership, hire or settlement — confirming what people say against what they do.

📍

Locating & pattern-of-life

Building a documented pattern of movement, routine and associations to support locating a subject or understanding their habits for a broader investigation.

How we work — and why it stands up

Licensed, lawful, and built for the courtroom

Every assignment is worked by licensed Arizona private investigators operating under Arizona’s private-investigator law (ARS Title 32, Chapter 24). That licensing isn’t a formality — surveillance conducted by an unlicensed party can be challenged, and the results excluded, exactly when you need them most.

We work firmly inside the legal boundaries Arizona sets. We document what can lawfully be observed from public vantage points; we don’t trespass, wiretap, or place tracking devices where the law forbids it. Evidence gathered the right way is evidence that survives cross-examination.

What you receive is time-stamped photo and video paired with detailed field logs — where the subject was, when, and what they did — assembled into clear reports designed to hold up in court. We run discreet vehicles and professional-grade optics and equipment, so coverage stays covert and the documentation stays clean.

Before a single hour is logged, we scope the assignment with you: the objective, the windows most likely to produce results, and the realistic commitment involved. Over-watching a subject wastes your budget; under-watching misses the moment that matters. Our job is to put investigator hours where they count, keep you informed as the picture develops, and stop when we’ve captured what the matter actually needs — as a veteran-owned, SDVOSB firm, we’d rather earn a repeat client than pad an invoice.

Surveillance FAQ

What clients ask before we start

Is surveillance legal?

Yes, when it’s done properly. Licensed Arizona investigators may observe and document a subject’s activity from public places where there’s no reasonable expectation of privacy. We work strictly within Arizona law — no trespass, no wiretapping, no unlawful tracking — which is precisely what keeps the resulting evidence admissible.

Will the subject know they’re being watched?

Our work is covert by design. We use discreet vehicles, professional optics, and trained investigators who blend into the environment, so the subject continues their normal routine — which is the only way surveillance produces honest, usable documentation.

What deliverables do I get?

You receive time-stamped photographs and video, a detailed written log of the subject’s movements and activity, and a clear investigator’s report. Everything is organized so it can be handed directly to your attorney, insurer, or the court.

How is pricing structured?

Surveillance is billed hourly, typically with a set number of investigator hours plus mileage and any travel. Because every matter differs in scope and difficulty, we quote it after a confidential consultation — so you know the expected commitment before we begin.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is surveillance appropriate and legal?

Surveillance is appropriate when a matter requires firsthand, documented observation — insurance and workers’ compensation claims, civil litigation, workplace investigations, and due diligence. We conduct it lawfully: observing activity in public view and within Arizona and federal law. We do not trespass, intercept private communications, or engage in unlawful monitoring.

What does your surveillance produce?

You receive timestamped video and photographs together with detailed, chronological activity logs and an investigator’s report. The product is built to support a claim, a case, or an internal decision, not just raw footage.

Is the footage court-admissible?

We document surveillance to court-ready standards and maintain chain of custody so it can be admitted and defended, and our investigators can testify when required. As with any investigation, we cannot guarantee a particular outcome, but we ensure the material is gathered and preserved to a professional, admissible standard.

Do you use drones for surveillance?

Where it is lawful and appropriate, yes. Our FAA Part 107 certified operators can add aerial documentation for large properties, sites, and events, flown in compliance with FAA rules and privacy law. Drone work is coordinated with the broader investigative or security plan.

Is surveillance handled confidentially?

Yes. Surveillance is discreet by design and every engagement is confidential. Our objective is to understand and document activity without alerting the parties involved.
