Terms & Conditions

Store orders and engagements for our security, investigative, forensic and managed IT services.

Pending legal review

These terms were drafted from how Honeybadger Solutions actually operates and are published so that customers have clear terms to read. They have not yet been reviewed by counsel. If any provision here conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.

Last updated 20 September 2026 · Honeybadger Solutions LLC · Casa Grande, Arizona

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Honeybadger Solutions LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“Honeybadger”, “we”, “us”). They apply to your use of honeybadgersolution.com, to any order placed through our store, and to any service enquiry you submit through the site. By placing an order or submitting an enquiry you accept these terms.

Where you have signed a separate service agreement, statement of work, engagement letter or managed service agreement with us, that document governs the services it covers and takes precedence over anything here that conflicts with it.

2. Eligibility to order

You must be at least 18 years old and ordering from a delivery address within the United States. We do not sell or ship outside the United States. You must provide accurate billing and delivery information, and you must be authorised to use the payment method you present.

We may decline, cancel or limit any order at our discretion — including where we cannot verify the order, where stock is unavailable, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we believe the order may not comply with applicable law.

3. Body armor, protective equipment and restricted items

Some products we sell, including ballistic body armor and armor plates, are subject to legal restrictions. By ordering these items you confirm all of the following:

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • The delivery address is within the United States.
  • You are not prohibited from purchasing or possessing body armor under federal law. Federal law at 18 U.S.C. § 931 prohibits possession of body armor by a person convicted of a violent felony, subject to a narrow employer exception.
  • You are responsible for confirming that your purchase and possession comply with the laws of your own state and locality. Some states and municipalities impose additional restrictions, including on how body armor may be transferred.

We rely on the confirmation you give at the point of order. We do not collect identity documents for these purchases. If we have reason to believe an order does not meet these conditions, we may cancel it and refund the payment method used.

Counter-surveillance and detection equipment is sold for lawful use only. You are responsible for complying with the recording, interception and privacy laws that apply where you use it — these vary significantly between states. Our TSCM services page explains where professional help is the more appropriate route.

4. Prices, payment and taxes

  • Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
  • Payment is taken at the time the order is placed. Your order is an offer to buy; our acceptance occurs when we dispatch the goods.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Shipping, delivery and risk

Shipping terms, handling times and delivery expectations are set out in full on our shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. We ship within the United States only. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the address you provide.

Where delivery is delayed beyond the period represented at the time of sale, we will notify you and offer the choice of a revised date or a refund, consistent with the Federal Trade Commission’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule at 16 CFR Part 435.

6. Returns and exchanges

Our store operates a defective-device exchange policy. In summary: returns are accepted for defective devices only, you must contact us within 15 days of receiving your order, the device must be returned for inspection, and an exchange is issued once the defect is verified. Non-defective products are not returnable and all other sales are final. The full terms are on our refund and return policy page.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any manufacturer warranty that accompanies a product. Guidance on federal warranty obligations is published by the Federal Trade Commission.

7. Services — scope and licensing

Honeybadger Solutions is an Arizona-licensed security guard agency and private investigation agency. Licensed physical security, guarding and investigative work in Arizona is performed in-house. Work outside Arizona that requires a licence in the destination state is coordinated from Arizona and delivered through independently licensed partner firms. Remote-delivered services — digital forensics, cyber security, managed IT and open-source research — are provided by our own team.

Service enquiries submitted through this site are not accepted engagements. An engagement begins only when scope, fees and terms are agreed in writing. We may decline any matter, including where it would create a conflict of interest or where the requested work would not be lawful.

We do not promise a particular outcome for any investigative, forensic, recovery or security engagement. Any provider that offers a certain result before examining the facts should be treated with caution.

8. Your responsibilities when engaging us

  • You confirm you have a lawful purpose and, where relevant, the authority to instruct work on the property, devices, accounts or premises concerned.
  • You will provide accurate information. Investigative and forensic work built on inaccurate instructions can produce unusable results.
  • You will not use our services, reports or deliverables to harass, stalk, intimidate or unlawfully surveil any person.
  • Where a matter involves litigation, regulatory obligations or law enforcement, you are responsible for your own legal advice. We are not a law firm and nothing we provide is legal advice.

9. Confidentiality

We treat client matters as confidential and share information only as necessary to deliver the engagement, or where disclosure is required by law, court order or a lawful request from a regulator. Where an engagement involves sensitive personal information, handling is on a need-to-know basis. Our privacy policy explains how personal information submitted through this site is handled.

10. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, graphics, layout, code and reports we publish — belongs to Honeybadger Solutions LLC unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share it for your own non-commercial reference. You may not republish it, scrape it at scale, or present it as your own work. Deliverables produced for a client under an engagement are addressed in that engagement’s own terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Honeybadger Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of this site, our products or our services. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Liability in connection with a service engagement is as set out in that engagement’s agreement.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Arizona.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services, products or legal obligations change. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.

14. How to reach us

Questions about these terms, an order or an engagement can go to our contact page, by email to sales@honeybadgersolution.com, or by phone on (602) 725-2818 during business hours.

Cookie Policy

What this site stores on your device and how to change it.

Last audited 20 September 2026 · Honeybadger Solutions LLC

What a cookie is, briefly

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, so that something can be remembered between page loads — what is in your basket, whether you are signed in, or that you have visited before. Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels do comparable jobs. This page covers all of them.

The list below reflects an audit of what this site actually loads. It is not a generic template, and we update it when the site changes.

1. Strictly necessary

These make the site function. Without them the store cannot work.

  • WooCommerce cart and session cookies — remember what you put in your basket and keep your checkout session together as you move between pages.
  • WordPress session and security cookies — set only if you log in to an account on the site.
  • Page caching — our caching layer may set a marker so that logged-in users and people with a full basket are served uncached pages.

These cannot be switched off through a preference on the site, because turning them off would break checkout. You can still block them in your browser, but the store will not function correctly afterwards.

2. Order attribution

Our store sets a group of cookies beginning sbjs_ — seven of them, from the Sourcebuster library bundled with WooCommerce. They record how a visit arrived: the referring site, search or campaign, and whether it is a first or returning visit. When an order is placed, that context is attached to the order so we can tell which channels actually produce sales.

These are first-party cookies. The data stays with us and our order records; it is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through a Google tag, to understand which pages are read, how people move through the site and where they leave. It sets cookies in the _ga family, typically holding a randomly generated identifier rather than anything that names you.

We use this in aggregate — which guides are read, which service pages convert, whether a change improved things. We do not use it to build profiles of individuals, and we do not upload customer lists to it.

4. Advertising and conversion measurement

The site loads Google Ads tags and contacts Google’s ad-serving domain. These measure whether an advertisement led to an enquiry or an order, and they can support remarketing — showing our advertisements to people who have previously visited. Google may set or read its own cookies in this process.

How Google uses data from sites that embed its services is described in Google’s own policy for partner sites. Under California law, some advertising cookie activity may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising — the California Attorney General explains those rights under the CCPA.

5. Tag management

Google Tag Manager is used to load and manage the tags above. It is a container rather than a tracker in its own right, but it is how the analytics and advertising tags reach the page, so it is listed here for completeness.

6. Fonts and embedded content

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests files from Google’s font servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Our enquiry and chat widget is supplied by a third party and may set its own cookies once you interact with it. Where we embed video or maps from another platform, that platform’s own cookie practices apply to the embed.

7. What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use cookies to identify you by name, and we do not attempt to de-anonymise analytics data.
  • We do not place tracking pixels inside case correspondence or investigative deliverables.
  • We do not require you to accept optional cookies in order to read the site.

8. How to control cookies

This site does not currently present a cookie consent banner, so the controls available to you are your own. All of these work:

  • Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies specifically, or clear everything on exit. This is the most complete control available to you.
  • Google Analytics opt-out. Google publishes a browser add-on that prevents Analytics from collecting data on any site.
  • Google ad settings. You can turn off ad personalisation in your Google account, which limits remarketing across sites that use Google advertising.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, it communicates an opt-out of sale or sharing to sites that honour it.
  • Do Not Track. Browser DNT signals are not consistently honoured across the industry, and we do not claim to act on them.

Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not affect your ability to read the site, request a quote, or contact us. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the store.

9. Questions and requests

For questions about this policy, or to make a request about personal information we hold, email sales@honeybadgersolution.com or use our contact page. How we handle personal information more broadly is covered in our privacy policy. Terms that apply to orders and engagements are in our terms and conditions.

Refund & Return Policy

Store purchases: defective devices only.

Honeybadger Solutions stands behind the quality of our products. We understand defects can occasionally occur — here is how returns work.

Eligibility for returns

  • We only accept returns for devices that are defective.
  • No returns or exchanges on non-defective products.
  • All sales are final — we do not offer refunds.
  • Exchanges are provided for defective devices only.

Return process

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to initiate a return request.
  2. Return authorization — our support team provides instructions and the return address; devices must be shipped back for inspection.
  3. Inspection — once received, our team inspects the device to verify the defect before an exchange is issued.

Questions about a defective device? Contact us and we’ll help.

Shipping Policy

Where we ship, handling times, tracking and delivery problems.

Pending legal review

These shipping terms were drafted from how Honeybadger Solutions actually operates and are published so that customers have clear terms to read. They have not yet been reviewed by counsel. If any provision here conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.

Last updated 20 September 2026 · Applies to all orders placed through honeybadgersolution.com

Where we ship

We ship to addresses within the United States only, including APO and FPO addresses where the carrier and the product allow it. We do not currently ship internationally. If you are outside the United States and need equipment sourced, contact us before ordering rather than placing an order that cannot be fulfilled.

We ship to residential and business addresses. For high-value or restricted items we may require a business address, a signature on delivery, or both.

Handling time

  • In-stock items are typically prepared for dispatch within one to three business days of a cleared payment.
  • Configured or fitted items — armor built to a specified size or carrier combination, or equipment we set up before it ships — take longer, and the product page or your order confirmation will say so.
  • Special-order items are ordered from the manufacturer once your order is placed. Lead times vary by manufacturer and we will tell you what to expect.
  • Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed after midday on Friday are normally processed the following Monday.

Handling time is not delivery time. Total time to your door is handling time plus the carrier’s transit time for the service selected at checkout.

If an order is going to be late

If we cannot ship within the timeframe represented when you ordered, we will contact you, tell you the revised date, and give you the choice of waiting or cancelling for a full refund. This follows the Federal Trade Commission’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule at 16 CFR Part 435, which sets out what a seller must do when a shipment will be delayed.

We would rather tell you about a delay early than let a date pass quietly. If a manufacturer gives us a moving lead time on a special order, we will pass that on as we receive it.

Body armor and restricted items

Ballistic body armor, armor plates and certain protective equipment carry conditions that ordinary orders do not. By placing an order for these items you confirm that you are 18 or older, that the delivery address is within the United States, and that you are not prohibited from purchasing or possessing body armor under federal law — see 18 U.S.C. § 931, which bars possession by a person convicted of a violent felony.

You remain responsible for confirming that purchase and possession are lawful where you live. Some states and municipalities impose additional restrictions, including limits on how body armor may be transferred. We do not collect identity documents for these purchases; we rely on the confirmation given at the point of order, and we may cancel and refund an order where we have reason to believe those conditions are not met.

Counter-surveillance and detection equipment is sold for lawful use only. Recording, interception and tracking laws differ substantially between states, and using equipment lawfully is your responsibility. Full conditions are in our terms and conditions.

Shipping cost and carriers

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination and the service you choose.
  • We ship from Arizona using national carriers. The carrier for a given order depends on the item, its weight and the destination.
  • Oversized or heavy items — safes, certain hard armor, larger equipment cases — may ship freight, and we will contact you to arrange delivery if so.
  • We do not mark packages with product descriptions that identify contents as protective or surveillance equipment.

Tracking

Every order ships with tracking. You will receive a tracking number by email when the order leaves us. If the notification email does not arrive, check spam and then contact us — we can resend it and confirm the dispatch date from our records.

Lost, delayed or damaged deliveries

  • Damaged in transit: photograph the packaging and the item before disposing of anything, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Carrier claims depend on that evidence.
  • Marked delivered but missing: check with neighbours and household members, then contact us. We will open a carrier trace. Carriers generally require a waiting period before declaring a parcel lost.
  • Delayed in transit: we will chase the carrier on your behalf. Transit delays after a parcel leaves us are outside our control, but pursuing them is not.
  • Insurance: higher-value shipments are insured. Carrier declared-value and insurance options are explained by the carrier — for example, USPS insurance and extra services.

Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the address you gave us. Where a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will work the carrier claim and replace or refund once it resolves.

Wrong address and refused deliveries

Please check the delivery address before completing checkout. We dispatch to the address supplied. If an address is wrong and the parcel has not yet shipped, contact us immediately and we will correct it. Once a parcel has shipped, a redirect depends on the carrier and may carry a fee.

Parcels refused at delivery, or returned to us because nobody could accept them, are treated as a cancelled order once received. Outbound shipping is not refunded on a refused delivery.

Returns

Shipping and returns are separate things. Our store operates a defective-device exchange policy rather than general returns: returns are accepted for defective devices only, you must contact us within 15 days of receipt, and an exchange is issued after inspection confirms the defect. Non-defective products are not returnable. The full terms are on our refund and return policy page. Please read it before ordering, because it is stricter than a general-merchandise return policy.

Questions about an order

For anything about dispatch, tracking or a delivery problem, use our contact page, email sales@honeybadgersolution.com, or call (602) 725-2818 during business hours. Have your order number to hand — it is the fastest way for us to find the shipment.

Accessibility Statement

Our commitment, known limitations and how to report a barrier.

Last reviewed 20 September 2026 · Honeybadger Solutions LLC

Our commitment

We want anyone to be able to read what we do, ask us for help and buy equipment from us, regardless of how they use the web. That includes people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or browser settings that change contrast, spacing or text size.

We measure this site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. The US Department of Justice has published guidance on web accessibility and the ADA that explains why this matters for businesses serving the public.

We state a target rather than a certification. Accessibility is a moving state on a site that publishes regularly, and claiming a permanent pass would be inaccurate.

What we have done

  • Alternative text on images. A site-wide audit of 4,919 uploaded images and 594 sampled in-page images found no missing alt text. New images are checked as they are added.
  • Keyboard navigation. Menus, forms, the enquiry widget and interactive tools can be operated without a mouse, and focus is visible as you move through a page.
  • Heading structure. Every page uses a single main heading with a logical hierarchy beneath it, so screen-reader users can navigate by heading rather than reading linearly. We audit for duplicate and missing headings and fix them at source.
  • Contrast and colour. Body text, headings and interface elements are checked against AA contrast ratios on our dark theme. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
  • Responsive and zoomable. Pages reflow down to small phone widths and remain usable when text is enlarged, without horizontal scrolling or clipped content.
  • Descriptive links. Link text describes its destination rather than relying on “click here”, which matters when a screen reader lists links out of context.
  • Motion. Animated elements respect the reduced-motion preference set in your operating system.
  • Readable documents. Where we publish a report or guide, we aim to provide it as a web page rather than only as a PDF.

Known limitations

We would rather list these than imply the site is perfect.

  • Interactive tools. Our calculators and self-assessment tools — the guard cost estimator, breach cost calculator, ransomware scorecard and TSCM self-audit — are JavaScript-driven. Each has a written explanation alongside it, but the interactive portion has not yet been fully audited against AA with a screen reader.
  • Third-party components. The store checkout, payment fields and the chat widget are supplied by third parties. We can configure them but we do not control their underlying accessibility. If one of these blocks you, contact us and we will complete the transaction with you directly.
  • Older articles. The site holds several hundred articles published over time. Structure and alt text have been audited site-wide, but older pieces may still contain tables or layouts that are harder to follow with assistive technology than our newer pages.
  • Embedded media. Video embedded from third-party platforms depends on that platform’s caption support. Where we publish video ourselves we aim to include captions.

If something blocks you

Tell us, and we will fix it or find another way to serve you in the meantime. You do not need to identify the technical cause — describing what you were trying to do and what happened is enough.

  • Email sales@honeybadgersolution.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line.
  • Call (602) 725-2818 — the line is answered 24/7. Accessibility reports are actioned Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Mountain Standard Time.
  • Or use our contact page.

Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using if you know it. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to tell you either when it is fixed or what the realistic timeline is.

An alternative route is always available. Anything you can do on this site — request a quote, ask about a service, place an order, ask about a delivery — you can also do by phone or email. If a part of the site is not working for you, that is our problem to solve, not a reason for you to go without.

How we keep this current

Accessibility checks run as part of our own site audits rather than as a one-off exercise: heading structure, alt text coverage, contrast, keyboard operation and mobile reflow are re-measured when we publish or restructure pages, and defects are fixed at source rather than patched page by page. This statement is reviewed when the site changes materially, and the date above reflects the last review.

Accessibility overlaps with things we care about elsewhere. Clear headings and descriptive links help screen-reader users and also help anyone skim-reading on a phone. Pages that work without JavaScript are more robust for everyone. We treat it as build quality rather than as a compliance box.
