Construction & Development · Job-Site Protection

Keep the copper, the equipment, and the schedule on your side of the fence

Active job sites are targets — open perimeters, staged material, expensive iron, and nobody on them from dusk to dawn. We build layered coverage around the build cycle: manned gates and credentialing by day, patrol and camera towers after hours, so theft, trespassing, and vandalism don’t turn into change orders and lost days.

Where site coverage fits

What we protect on the job site

Construction and development sites lose the most to theft of copper, wire, fuel, tools, and heavy equipment — usually after hours, usually through an unwatched gate or an open perimeter. We combine people, presence, and technology so the site is accounted for around the clock, and so every entry and incident is documented instead of guessed at.

🔩

Copper, wire & material theft

Deterrence and response focused on the targets that actually walk off site — copper, spooled wire, plumbing stock, and staged materials — with documented checks on lay-down yards and storage.

Equipment & tool security

Coverage for parked iron, generators, compressors, and tool trailers overnight and on weekends, when idle equipment is most exposed to theft and stripping.

Trespassing & after-hours access

Standing posts and roving officers to keep unauthorized people off an active site — deterring vandalism, scrapping, squatting, and the liability of a stranger wandering a live build.

Perimeter control →

Gate & credential management

Manned entry control that logs who comes and goes — subs, deliveries, and visitors — checking credentials and keeping a clean record of every vehicle and person on site.

Mobile patrol routes

Marked mobile patrol on scheduled and randomized routes across large or spread-out sites — checking perimeters, gates, and lay-down yards and responding to alarms.

Temporary camera towers

Rapid-deploy solar camera towers for perimeter and blind-spot coverage — a visible deterrent that extends officers’ eyes across the whole site, day and night.

How we run job-site coverage

Coverage that follows the build

A construction site isn’t a fixed building — it changes every week, and so does its risk. We plan coverage around the phase you’re in: open-ground grading, vertical framing, MEP rough-in when copper and wire are staged, and finish work when tools and appliances arrive. What needs watching in month two is different from month six, and the plan moves with it.

The core is a simple, layered posture: controlled entry by day, patrol and technology by night. Manned gates log deliveries and subs while work is active; after hours, roving officers and temporary camera towers cover the perimeter and the lay-down yards where theft actually happens. When an alarm or a camera trips, someone responds and documents it.

Officers work from written post orders built for your site — gate procedures, patrol routes, what to check, and who to call — so coverage doesn’t depend on who happens to be standing there. For larger or multi-building developments, we coordinate with our industrial & manufacturing security and mobile vehicle patrol teams so posts and routes line up instead of leaving gaps.

As a veteran-led, service-disabled veteran-owned firm, we bring a plan-brief-document discipline to the work. Every gate log, patrol check, and incident is recorded — so if material does go missing or a trespasser is turned away, you have a clear account of what happened and when, not a shrug.

Construction security FAQ

What builders and developers ask

What’s the biggest theft risk on a job site?

It’s usually copper, wire, fuel, and small tools taken after hours, plus the occasional heavy-equipment theft on weekends. Most of it comes through an open perimeter or an unwatched gate when no one’s on site. We concentrate coverage on those windows — nights and weekends — and on the lay-down yards and storage where the high-value, easy-to-move material sits.

Do I need guards, cameras, or both?

Most active sites do best with both. Manned gates control access while work is happening; after hours, mobile patrol and temporary camera towers extend coverage across the whole site without a fixed post on every corner. We’ll assess the site’s size, layout, and phase and recommend the mix that fits — not the most expensive package.

Can you scale coverage as the project changes?

Yes — that’s the point. Risk shifts as the build moves from grading to framing to finish, and staffing and technology shift with it. We adjust posts, patrol frequency, and camera placement by phase, and we can add coverage for high-exposure stretches like MEP rough-in when copper and wire are on site.

How fast can you stand up coverage on a new site?

For most sites we can deploy on short notice — officers, gate procedures, and camera towers set to your layout. Standing contracts are planned in advance so post orders and routes are locked before day one; urgent situations, like a site that’s just been hit, we move on quickly. Call our 24/7 intake and we’ll tell you straight what we can turn around.

Protect the site before the next load walks off

Tell us the site, the phase, and what’s gone missing or worries you. We’ll build coverage matched to the build — gates, patrol, and towers where they actually pay off — and tell you straight what it takes.
