This is the flexible-neck inspection camera rather than the rigid pole variety, and the difference decides what it is good for. A 22-inch flexible head on a pole that runs 64 inches collapsed to 92 inches extended will bend around an obstruction and look back at itself — into a wall cavity, behind a fixed cabinet, up into a ceiling void from an awkward angle. A rigid pole camera reaches further and steadier; this one gets into places a rigid pole simply cannot follow.
Inspect drop ceilings plus look behind immovable objects and around corners. Difficult to reach areas, even in the dark and at night, are a snap thanks to the infrared sensors on board. The camera is waterproof and made of stainless steel for durability and longevity.

The specs that matter in the field
Infrared night vision. Nearly everything you inspect with this — a ceiling void, a wall cavity, an undercarriage, a compartment — has no ambient light whatsoever. Auto IR is not a nice-to-have; without it a dark image is not a clear void, it is an unchecked one.
IP68 stainless steel head. Waterproof and corrosion-resistant means drains, tanks, engine bays, flooded cavities and wet crawlspaces are in scope, and that the head survives being dragged across masonry and sheet metal edges, which is what actually kills inspection cameras.
5MP, 120-degree wide angle, 360-degree articulation. The wide lens means you see the context around whatever you are looking at rather than a keyhole view, and the rotating head means you can re-aim once the camera is already inside rather than withdrawing and re-inserting.
Records to card, up to 32GB. Record rather than just look. A timestamped still of an empty cavity is worth having if the inspection ever needs to be documented — “we checked it” is a much weaker statement than a frame showing it checked.
Where it earns its keep
In a TSCM sweep, the void above a drop ceiling and the space behind fixed millwork are the two places a device most often sits and the two most often skipped, because reaching them means a ladder and disassembly. An inspection camera turns that into a ninety-second look. In vehicle work, the undercarriage and interior panel cavities are where attached devices go. In facility and property inspection, it covers crawlspaces, wall cavities, roof voids and drains without opening anything up.
Using it properly
Move slowly and pan in overlapping passes — sweeping fast across a void reads as “nothing there” when in fact nothing was ever resolved. Watch the monitor, not the pole. And clean the head afterwards; a film of dust on the lens quietly halves the image quality on the next job, and you will blame the camera.
