Utility size ā the one that fits a working kit
The medium MAS utility bag measures 10.0 x 3.8 x 11.0 inches outside and 9.3 x 3.3 x 10.0 inside, with three RF-blocking layers. It is sized for the things that travel together: two or three phones, a tablet, key fobs, a GPS tracker recovered from a vehicle, or a small evidence bundle.
Isolation is the point. Anything inside cannot transmit, receive, be tracked or be wiped remotely.

How to use it so it works
Shielding only works when the bag is closed correctly. Roll the closure the full number of turns the maker specifies and seal it; a single fold leaves a gap at the seam and the phone reconnects. Test it the first time: put the phone inside, seal it, call it from another line and confirm it does not ring, then check for missed-call notifications when you open it.
Two practical notes. A sealed phone burns battery hunting for signal, so charge before a long isolation. And shielding fabric wears at the fold line ā inspect it periodically and re-test rather than assuming a bag bought two years ago still performs.
Where we use them
Seizing a device for examination, transporting evidence, protecting a principalās phone during a sensitive meeting, and keeping key fobs out of range of relay theft. In forensic work the point is not privacy, it is integrity: an isolated phone cannot receive a remote wipe, and that is the difference between evidence and a story about evidence.
If the device in the bag matters to a case, hand it to an examiner sealed and untouched ā our examiners image devices with the chain of custody documented from the moment they arrive.
