Counter Surveillance Kits

Counter-surveillance kits bundle the detection equipment needed to check a room, vehicle or office for hidden cameras, microphones and tracking devices — RF detection, lens finding and signal analysis in one package.
Be realistic about what a kit can do. Consumer-grade detection equipment finds actively transmitting devices and reflective camera lenses. It will not reliably find a device that records to internal storage and transmits nothing, one that only transmits in short scheduled bursts, or one hardwired into building infrastructure. Those require a professional sweep with a spectrum analyser and a physical inspection.
Where a kit genuinely helps. Travel and short-term accommodation, vehicle checks, routine reassurance sweeps of a meeting room, and establishing a baseline you can re-check later. Anyone who travels for business and stays in unfamiliar rooms gets real value from a competent detector.
How to sweep properly. Work methodically and slowly — most false negatives come from moving too fast. Turn off your own transmitting devices first or you will chase your own phone. Check at the heights things are actually hidden: smoke detectors, power outlets, alarm clocks, air vents, and anything with an unobstructed view of a bed or desk.
