Security Officer – Former & Retired Law Enforcement

Your training, report writing and judgment carry straight over. If you served as a police officer, deputy, detention or corrections officer, or federal agent, we want you on our roster for armed posts, lead-officer shifts and the sites that need the most experience.

This is a roster position. We are building a bench of officers for client posts across Arizona, and work comes in as client contracts come in. Some officers work full-time weeks, others pick up part-time or single shifts. There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours; when we call, we tell you honestly what is available. W-2 employee, never a 1099 contractor, whether you work one shift or forty hours a week.

What you’ll do

• Armed and unarmed posts at commercial, construction, event and high-risk sites across Arizona
• Lead shifts on multi-officer sites and brief newer officers
• Write clear, court-ready incident reports and preserve scenes until responding agencies arrive
• Serve as the on-site contact for clients and responding agencies
• De-escalate first; follow post orders, company policy and Arizona law on use of force

What you need

• Prior sworn or detention service with any U.S. law enforcement agency
• Left your agency in good standing (we verify with your former agency); no separation for dishonesty or misconduct
• Arizona DPS guard card (armed preferred). Arizona requires former officers to hold a guard card to work security; we will walk you through it
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to stand, walk and patrol for a full shift, in Arizona heat

Clean background and honesty

• A clean background is required. We check every applicant before the first shift.
• No felony convictions, and nothing that would disqualify you from an Arizona DPS guard card: no misdemeanor for violence, weapons misconduct, dishonesty or fraud, theft, domestic violence, drugs or sexual misconduct in the last five years (A.R.S. 32-2622). Armed posts: no domestic-violence conviction, ever.
• Pass our background check and a drug screen, and keep a clean record while you work with us.
• Be honest. Tell us the truth on your application and in your interview. A false or incomplete answer ends your application, and dishonesty on the job ends your employment.
