Front Desk & Concierge · The First Point of Contact

Security that greets people — and quietly screens them

The lobby is where a building’s security actually begins. A professional front-desk officer welcomes tenants and guests, manages who comes in, oversees packages and deliveries, and keeps a calm, watchful presence at the door — the concierge-style first impression corporate and residential buildings want, backed by real access control.

What our front-desk officers cover

A welcoming lobby, a controlled door

Front-desk and concierge security is a balancing act: warm enough to be the face of the building, sharp enough to be its first line of control. Our officers are trained to do both — greet people well while quietly verifying, logging, and managing everyone who moves through the lobby. Here’s what that looks like day to day.

How we run front-desk coverage

The face of the building, and its filter

A front desk is the one security post everyone sees. Tenants judge the building by it, guests form a first impression at it, and — done right — every person who enters is quietly screened by it. That dual role is the whole discipline: our officers are trained to be genuinely welcoming and quietly rigorous at the same time, so the lobby feels like a concierge desk and functions like a control point.

The day-to-day work is visitor management and access control. Guests and contractors are verified against who’s expected, badged, and logged; credentials are checked at the turnstiles; and tailgating — the most common way unauthorized people get upstairs — is managed rather than ignored. For corporate lobbies, that ties directly into broader commercial & corporate security; for residential buildings, it’s the front line of residential security services, where officers come to know the residents and notice when something’s off.

Package and mail oversight is where a lot of buildings quietly lose control. Couriers wandering unescorted, packages piling up unlogged, deliveries walking off — our officers receive, log, and secure deliveries at the desk and keep couriers where they belong. It’s a small routine that closes a real gap.

As a veteran-led, service-disabled veteran-owned firm, we bring post discipline to a role that too often gets treated as decoration. Our officers work to written post orders, keep a documented log of visitors and incidents, and de-escalate the dispute or unwanted visitor at the desk before it becomes management’s problem — professional at the front, accountable behind it.

Front desk & concierge FAQ

What property managers ask before they hire

Is this a concierge or a security guard?

Both, deliberately. Our front-desk officers provide the professional, courteous presence of a concierge — greeting tenants, directing guests, handling packages — while carrying the training and judgment of a licensed security officer. The point of the role is that the two aren’t separate: the same person who welcomes a guest is the one verifying they’re expected and logging them in.

How do you handle visitors and contractors?

Every visitor and contractor is verified against who’s expected, signed in, and issued a pass where the building uses them, so there’s an accurate record of who’s inside at any time. Contractors are confirmed and, where policy requires, escorted or restricted to specific areas. It’s a consistent routine run the same way every shift, which is what keeps unauthorized people from simply walking in.

Do your officers manage packages and deliveries?

Yes. Package and mail oversight is a core part of the desk — officers receive, log, and secure deliveries, and keep couriers from wandering the building unescorted. It closes a gap most lobbies have: packages that go missing and delivery personnel who end up somewhere they shouldn’t be. We tailor the exact handling to your building’s mailroom and policy.

Can you cover both corporate and residential buildings?

We do both. Corporate lobbies lean toward credential control, contractor management, and coordination with a broader security program; residential buildings lean toward knowing the residents, managing guests and deliveries, and being a steady, familiar presence. The core skills are the same — we adjust the tone and the post orders to fit the property.

Give your lobby a first impression that also protects it

Tell us about the building, the traffic, and how you want the desk to feel. We’ll staff it with officers who greet people well and control the door properly — and tell you straight what it takes.
