Terms & Conditions.
The terms that apply when you buy equipment from our store or engage Honeybadger Solutions LLC for security, investigative, forensic or managed IT services. Please read them before ordering.
Book a consultation →All managed IT servicesThese terms were drafted from how Honeybadger Solutions actually operates and are published so that customers have clear terms to read. They have not yet been reviewed by counsel. If any provision here conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Honeybadger Solutions LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“Honeybadger”, “we”, “us”). They apply to your use of honeybadgersolution.com, to any order placed through our store, and to any service enquiry you submit through the site. By placing an order or submitting an enquiry you accept these terms.
Where you have signed a separate service agreement, statement of work, engagement letter or managed service agreement with us, that document governs the services it covers and takes precedence over anything here that conflicts with it.
2. Eligibility to order
You must be at least 18 years old and ordering from a delivery address within the United States. We do not sell or ship outside the United States. You must provide accurate billing and delivery information, and you must be authorised to use the payment method you present.
We may decline, cancel or limit any order at our discretion — including where we cannot verify the order, where stock is unavailable, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we believe the order may not comply with applicable law.
3. Body armor, protective equipment and restricted items
Some products we sell, including ballistic body armor and armor plates, are subject to legal restrictions. By ordering these items you confirm all of the following:
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- The delivery address is within the United States.
- You are not prohibited from purchasing or possessing body armor under federal law. Federal law at 18 U.S.C. § 931 prohibits possession of body armor by a person convicted of a violent felony, subject to a narrow employer exception.
- You are responsible for confirming that your purchase and possession comply with the laws of your own state and locality. Some states and municipalities impose additional restrictions, including on how body armor may be transferred.
We rely on the confirmation you give at the point of order. We do not collect identity documents for these purchases. If we have reason to believe an order does not meet these conditions, we may cancel it and refund the payment method used.
Counter-surveillance and detection equipment is sold for lawful use only. You are responsible for complying with the recording, interception and privacy laws that apply where you use it — these vary significantly between states. Our TSCM services page explains where professional help is the more appropriate route.
4. Prices, payment and taxes
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
- Payment is taken at the time the order is placed. Your order is an offer to buy; our acceptance occurs when we dispatch the goods.
- If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Shipping, delivery and risk
Shipping terms, handling times and delivery expectations are set out in full on our shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. We ship within the United States only. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the address you provide.
Where delivery is delayed beyond the period represented at the time of sale, we will notify you and offer the choice of a revised date or a refund, consistent with the Federal Trade Commission’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule at 16 CFR Part 435.
6. Returns and exchanges
Our store operates a defective-device exchange policy. In summary: returns are accepted for defective devices only, you must contact us within 15 days of receiving your order, the device must be returned for inspection, and an exchange is issued once the defect is verified. Non-defective products are not returnable and all other sales are final. The full terms are on our refund and return policy page.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any manufacturer warranty that accompanies a product. Guidance on federal warranty obligations is published by the Federal Trade Commission.
7. Services — scope and licensing
Honeybadger Solutions is an Arizona-licensed security guard agency and private investigation agency. Licensed physical security, guarding and investigative work in Arizona is performed in-house. Work outside Arizona that requires a licence in the destination state is coordinated from Arizona and delivered through independently licensed partner firms. Remote-delivered services — digital forensics, cyber security, managed IT and open-source research — are provided by our own team.
Service enquiries submitted through this site are not accepted engagements. An engagement begins only when scope, fees and terms are agreed in writing. We may decline any matter, including where it would create a conflict of interest or where the requested work would not be lawful.
We do not promise a particular outcome for any investigative, forensic, recovery or security engagement. Any provider that offers a certain result before examining the facts should be treated with caution.
8. Your responsibilities when engaging us
- You confirm you have a lawful purpose and, where relevant, the authority to instruct work on the property, devices, accounts or premises concerned.
- You will provide accurate information. Investigative and forensic work built on inaccurate instructions can produce unusable results.
- You will not use our services, reports or deliverables to harass, stalk, intimidate or unlawfully surveil any person.
- Where a matter involves litigation, regulatory obligations or law enforcement, you are responsible for your own legal advice. We are not a law firm and nothing we provide is legal advice.
9. Confidentiality
We treat client matters as confidential and share information only as necessary to deliver the engagement, or where disclosure is required by law, court order or a lawful request from a regulator. Where an engagement involves sensitive personal information, handling is on a need-to-know basis. Our privacy policy explains how personal information submitted through this site is handled.
10. Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, graphics, layout, code and reports we publish — belongs to Honeybadger Solutions LLC unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share it for your own non-commercial reference. You may not republish it, scrape it at scale, or present it as your own work. Deliverables produced for a client under an engagement are addressed in that engagement’s own terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Honeybadger Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of this site, our products or our services. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Liability in connection with a service engagement is as set out in that engagement’s agreement.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Arizona.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services, products or legal obligations change. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
14. How to reach us
Questions about these terms, an order or an engagement can go to our contact page, by email to sales@honeybadgersolution.com, or by phone on (602) 725-2818 during business hours.
Questions before you order or engage us?
Ask first. It is faster than sorting it out afterwards, and we would rather turn away work we cannot do properly than take it on.
