Plan the security program before you pay for the wrong one
Senior advisors who assess the real threat, design the right security program, and manage it to completion — so your spend goes where the risk actually is, not where a vendor’s catalog wants it to go.

Assess it right, then build it right
Most security spend goes sideways because the buying happens before the thinking. Cameras get bought before anyone maps the threat; guards get posted before anyone reads the site. We work the other direction — assess the real risk first, design a program around it, and manage the build to completion. Here’s what that covers.
Threat & risk assessment
A structured assessment of the threats, vulnerabilities, and likely-loss scenarios specific to your people, sites, and operations — not a generic checklist.
Assess the threat →Security program design
Turn the assessment into a concrete program: physical, personnel, technology, and policy — right-sized to the risk and to the budget you actually have.
Design the program →Security project management
Manage the build-out end to end — scope, vendors, installation, timelines, and acceptance — with one accountable owner instead of a pile of quotes.
Manage the build →Vulnerability & site surveys
We walk the sites and find the gaps — access, surveillance, lighting, procedures — then prioritize the fixes by impact so you spend on what matters first.
Survey the site →Executive & organizational advisory
Ongoing counsel for leadership on protective posture, travel, crisis planning, and duty-of-care — a senior voice in the room when the stakes are high.
Advise leadership →Policy, training & compliance
Written policies, response plans, and staff training so the program actually runs after we hand it over — not a binder that sits on a shelf.
Make it stick →How independent advisory works
Assess before you spend
Why independent advisory matters. Most security firms sell you a product first and figure out the threat afterward — the camera line, the guard contract, the alarm package they already carry. That gets the order backward. We assess first, and because our advice is vendor-neutral, the recommendation you get is the one your risk actually calls for, not the one that pads someone’s margin. When the assessment says you need less than you feared, we’ll say so.
How it works. We move in four steps: assess the real threat and where you’re exposed; design a program — physical, personnel, technology, and policy — sized to that risk and your budget; manage the build-out end to end, coordinating vendors and installation to acceptance; then hand off a running program with the policies, training, and documentation to keep it running without us.
Who it’s for. Businesses and campuses tightening a loose posture, high-net-worth principals who need a protective plan around their life, and organizations standing up a security program for the first time or overhauling one that grew by accident. If you’re about to write a large security check and aren’t sure it’s aimed at the right target, that’s exactly the moment to bring us in.
Because we’re a veteran-led, service-disabled veteran-owned firm, military planning discipline carries into how we scope, brief, and drive a program to completion — decisions documented, owners named, nothing left to memory.
Advisory & consulting FAQ
What clients ask before they engage
What’s the difference between a threat assessment and a security audit?
An audit measures what you have against a standard — do the cameras work, are the doors alarmed, is the policy current. A threat assessment starts a step earlier and asks what you’re actually up against: who or what threatens your people and assets, how they’d realistically do it, and what the loss looks like. We do both, but we lead with the assessment — a well-run audit of the wrong program still leaves you exposed.
Do you manage the installation or just advise?
Both, and you choose the depth. Some clients want the assessment and program design and take it from there; others want us to own the whole build — sourcing vendors, coordinating installation, holding timelines, and signing off on acceptance so there’s one accountable owner instead of five contractors pointing at each other. Because our advice is vendor-neutral, managing the build doesn’t compromise the recommendation — we’re not steering you toward hardware we profit from.
Are you tied to specific vendors or products?
No. We don’t resell hardware or carry a preferred brand we’re quietly obligated to push. That independence is the point — it means the program we design is the one your risk calls for, and when we manage a build, we can put vendors in genuine competition on your behalf rather than routing you to a partner. If a solution you already own is the right one, we’ll tell you to keep it.
Who needs a security consultant?
Anyone about to make a significant security decision without an independent, threat-first view of it. That’s a business tightening a loose posture, a campus or organization standing up a program for the first time, a high-net-worth individual who needs a protective plan built around their life, or leadership overhauling a program that grew piece by piece and never quite fit. If the spend is large and you’re not certain it’s aimed at the real risk, a consultant pays for itself by pointing the budget the right direction.
Get the plan before you get the invoice
Tell us the situation and what you’re protecting. We’ll assess the real threat, tell you straight what the right program looks like, and manage it to completion — no product to push, no upsell.
